Top 13 Motorcycles for 2015

This post was originally featured on Experimental Ghost's blog as a return favour for a cracking guest post he wrote for me, but I feel it's worth the recap as we head into the New Year and shit-tonne of exciting new motorcycles in 2015.

First of all, a bit about me. I grew up in rural South Australia moving around with my parents as they opened restaurants and fish and chip shops until they retired; we were always a motorbike family.

That one time I lost my nerve

Howdy, Last time we spoke I talked about not giving up after an off, you can catch up on it here if you haven’t read it yet, this will make more sense if you do.

Conversely there was this one time when I did give it away. For a few years. Hangs head in shame.

So I'd like to share another short story with you about losing your nerve.

BMW S1R: How to fit your tecbike exhaust cover

Herroooo! Here are my step by step instructions for fitting the TecBike Exhaust cover to the BMW S1000R, not that you really need em!

I did find the included German instructions slightly more confusing than Ikea, but after translating them I thought this might save someone else the hassle.

A story about a boy and a motorcycle off

G’day. I was cruising a 90km slab of freeway the other day talking to myself, reminiscing about a story of a 'motorcycle off*' I had as a kid, I was musing why I never gave up after that off.

It was a rip snorter that almost killed me (well sort of, a friendship paid the price) so without further ado I’d like share a story with you, about a boy and a motorcycle off.

BMW S1000R: Technology Farkles

I'm thinking about a long ride covering a few thousand kms, and I've got some farkles on the brain to satisfy before I splitski.

This time though I'm thinking about updates to technology. I've done long rides before, when I picked up the Ducati back at the start of 2013 I rode from Queensland to Melbourne with nothing but a roll bag and a shit helmet.
